Born in Inverness in 1971 and brought up in the Highlands of Scotland

Attended Croftinloan School, Pitlochry (1979-85) and Uppingham School (1985-90)

Napier University (1996-200) BA (Hons) Languages & Export Management (2:1) - I speak French & German fluently & basic Spanish

Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring (5 week school) Graduate 2005

Cooking, Photography, Movies, Travel, Cycling, Paragliding, Kayaking & Baseball

I am a Great Britain International Baseball Umpire who has worked games in 12 countries (and counting) worldwide including CEB and National Elite championships.  I have also umpired the GB, French, Belgian & German national teams as well as several college teams. In 2009 I also umpired Sweden vs Korea in Stockholm for their pre-World Cup training games (twice!)
